Objectives:You will work as an expert to support on reactor related process design, optimization, troubleshooting, debottlenecking, etc.; You will act as creativity engine for reaction engineering research on process development and optimization in Asia-Pacific region.

Main Task:

  • Provide technical support for production in Asian Pacific region on process development and optimization, trouble-shooting, debottlenecking, etc.;
  • Define, initiate and manage research projects to further develop the application area. Your expertise and results will be applied to research and production;
  • Establish an expert network within the BASF global research community, operational units and scientific partners to maintain state of the art expertise as well as monitor new practices and market trends


  • Education: Ph.D degree
  • Working Experience: Ph.D or above 3 years' working experience in industry is preferred
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge: Chemical engineering (reaction engineering preferred)
  • Have deep understanding on basic principles like reaction kinetics, transport phenomena, thermodynamic, fluid dynamics, etc.
  • English: fluent oral English
