What you can expect

During this 3-6 month internship, starting in early 2018, you will support the work of our Formulation Research Platform department in Tarrytown, USA in developing formulation for improved stability, applicability and performance of biological activity.

• You will grow bacteria, quantify bacterial growth and increase the survivability of formulated bacteria.
• You will encapsulate bacteria.
• You will work with temperature and chemically sensitive proteins to improve storage stability.
• Furthermore, you will apply methods to predict long term stability of biological activity.
• You have the chance to participate in cultural activities together with your new colleagues.

What we expect

• You are in an advanced stage of your studies of chemistry, biology or in a related field at a European University.
• You are known for your great study results and your extra-curricular commitment.
• Your English language skills are very good and you have already had the chance to gather practical experience in the industry as well as abroad.
