What you can expect

Our global research unit Herbicides Early Biology provides research services to improve and support new herbicide lead chemistries as well as new technologies for herbicide tolerant crop approaches. We are currently looking for a postdoc (m/f) to join our team.

  • You will investigate the uptake, distribution, metabolism of agrochemical compounds in biological systems in the lab.
  • You will develop and operate biological assays and LC/MS-based analytical methods.
  • You will apply your knowledge to solve biological questions important for lead chemistry evaluation and optimization.
  • You will be responsible for data analysis, reporting, presentation and discussion of your results.
  • You will work in project teams together with scientists of different disciplines.

What we expect

  • You have successfully finished your studies with a PhD in chemistry or biology.
  • You have gained a strong background in LC/MS analytics and you have an interest in biological questions.
  • Due to your previous experience in the lab you are familiar with operating analytical devices.
  • You have basic knowledge in molecular biology and protein expression.
  • You are a proactive and motivated teamplayer with excellent communication as well as presentation skills in English and German.
