What you can expect

During this 3-month internship, starting in January 2018, you will have the opportunity to gain extensive insight into the area of food formulation. Our lab Food Performance Products is working on developing new food ingredients and we offer solid education in fascinating food systems.

• You will develop measurement techniques to characterize real food systems.
• You will also organize testing of ingredient formulation in food applications.
• You will conduct experiments and in addition, you will take care of the interpretation and communication of experimental results.

What we expect

• You are a student of food engineering, -chemistry or -physics (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) and you are interested in the field of food physics.
• Laboratory experience is essential as well as basic understanding of structure-function relationship of food systems.
• Furthermore, you communicate confidently in English and German and an innovative working style as well as excellent presentation skills complete your profile.
