Description

BASF Toda Battery Materials LLC (BTBM) have established in the end of February 2015, as an joint venture of BASF and Toda Kogyo. Our business scopet is R&D, manufacturing, marketing, Sales of various cathode materials such as NCM, LMO, and NCM.

We aim to be global leader in lithium-ion battery materials manufacture by synergizing BASF and Toda Kogyo’s expertise.

Objectives of the Position

The main areas for the job scope are to analyze quality inspection, troubleshoot issues occurred in production, customers and quality control, enhance/develop inspection methods, perform calibration of analytical devices and environmental measurement, while liaising with all of the relevant internal and external stakeholders (Quality Assurance, Production, R&D, and external analytical service centers) in alignment with the quality management system (QMS) and the responsible care (RC).

Main Tasks

  • To analyze quality inspection results applying statistical methodology (deviation trend, F/T significant analysis, and correlation analysis) in order to report to all of the relevant stakeholders and its upload into the system (SAP) incl. the approval of usage decision as a deputy of the manager.

  • To troubleshoot issues occurred in production, customers and quality control and seek the solution from analytical technique aspects.

  • To enhance the existing quality inspection methods and develop new quality inspection methods while validating at least linearity, repeatability (sampling, pre-treatment and devices), and accuracy and ensure adherence to the standardized operating procedures in alignment with the QMS and the RC system.

  • To perform calibration of analytical devices and environmental measurement.

  • To support any global/regional/local projects.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Quality Control or related field

  • Working Experience: Experience in Quality Control or related field > 5 years

  • Technical & Professional Knowledge: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and preferably SAP

  • Other: English (Proficiency level 0 - Poor, 10 - Excellent): Speaking 3, Writing 5
