Where the Chemistry Happens… We are currently seeking a Site Manager for our Agricultural Solutions (AP) chemical manufacturing facility in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Site Manager (1703419) – St. Joseph, MO As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the production of rhizobium inoculants and non-rhizobium products to the required quality standards within budgeted costs, while complying with ISO 9001 standards & OSHA regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with organizational Marketing and Sales teams. Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Oversee production of inoculants to required quality standards and agreed time scales, while ensuring adherence to planned budget
  • Maintain regular checks on expenditure and stock levels, with regards to budgeted production; Provide forward plans as required
  • Lead the site management team
  • Maintain safe & secure conditions within the production operation, including compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
  • Ensure operation to ISO 9001 standards

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Natural Science or Engineering (Extensive experience in the industry can be considered in lieu of your degree being within one of the specific fields previously listed)
  • 4+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of proven people management/supervisory experience leading and developing a team
  • Demonstrated experience running a commercial production operation
  • Experience managing demand planning within a production environment
  • Experience developing, presenting and managing budgets
  • Experience with MRP computer systems

We Also Look For…

  • Engineering background is beneficial
  • Agricultural background is an advantage
  • Experience in the following fields; processed food, chemical, fermentation, or related
