Description

Objectives

• Site on-line analyzer management including trouble shooting, daily inspection and preventive maintenance, to ensure on-line analyzers long-term working reliability. Ensuring all testing/calibration/verification activities comply with national regulation and BASF requirement.
• To be technically responsible for implementing of site small projects and support capital projects related to on-line analyzer.

Main Tasks

• Work together with plant asset managers and subject matter engineers on on-line analyzers, including maintenance strategy, preventive maintenance plan, spare parts strategy, cost control, bad-actor program and reliability improvement plan;
• Participate in daily production maintenance meeting and maintenance scheduling meeting; report daily maintenance status, prepare for next days’ job; close notifications with damage codes;
• Contact local authorities and responsible for testing/verifying all analyzers according to national regulation.
• Plant Turnaround execution including work-list preparation, material/spare parts preparation, scheduling, safety and quality control etc.
• Site-wide analyzer installation& improvement for small projects and MOC.
• Create and maintain work instruction for new introduced analyzer and optimize existing work instruction.
• Contact and coordinate with Engineering Units for on-line analyzer design issues. Prepare analyzer specifications for new introduced analyzer.
• Control, coordinate and instruct contractors to execute work tasks according to maintenance work flow.
• Spare parts management including material number (TMAT) application and ensuring safety stock level for all on-line analyzer;
• Relevant document control and archive for maintenance activities and small project.
• SAP related work such as PM model run etc.;
• Conduct regular training of on-line analyzer course for instrument technician/contractor, improving overall technical competency.
• Conduct root cause analysis for on-line analyzer fault as per bad actor management procedure.
• Other jobs assigned by his/her supervisor.

Requirements

• Education: College degree or above, majored in automation/instrument control area.
• Working Experience: 4+ working experience in chemical/ petrochemical plant.
• Technical & Professional Knowledge:
• Good knowledge about work principle of on-line analyzer such as TOC, GC, IR and PH/Conductivity etc.
• Familiar with related industrial standards.
• Systematic analysis skill and good coordination ability.
• Good team work spirit and communication capability.
• Project experience is preferred.
• Good planning and scheduling ability and SAP application on PM module is preferred.
