Description

Objectives

• Be responsible for the Heavy Duty Rotating Equipment (HDRE) management of whole BACH site, particularly. steam turbine & compressor, pumps, chillers, roots blowers etc., and ensure that they are running stable to satisfy production needs.
• To lead overhauls of turbo machinery, and also provide technical support to maintenance and engineering related activities, including Preventive and Corrective maintenance, plant changes, production support and Turnaround, ensure that all the activities are performed safely, efficiently and right first time.

Main Tasks

• Lead or technically support the following machinery related activities:
• Coach asset manager and maintenance engineers on Turbo machinery maintenance strategy, preventive maintenance plan;
• Lead the overhaul of HDRE, including scope definition, budgeting, planning & schedule, like spare parts procurement, specialized tools, external service and bidding etc.
• Focal point with ReCe (BASF reliability center) and Technical Community, share information on Heavy Duty Rotating Equipment;
• Lead bad actor programme, trouble-shooting, root-cause analysis for repeated failures or high-profile incidents;
• Establish maintenance quality acceptance standards for overhauls of HDRE;
• Provide technical consultation to both area 1 and area 2 maintenance team;
• The spare parts strategy review and quality control of HDRE;
• Set up competencies for related contractors and participate in performance assessment;
• Participate in reassessment and qualification verification of major service contractors;
• Develop maintenance engineers, technicians and contractors through proper training;
• Organize experience exchange of maintenance engineers at different areas;
• Technical support to plant turnaround execution;
• Establish related technical documentation based project file and information from OEM;
• Provide technical support to Capex Project team on HDRE specification and selection process

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor degree or above;
• Working Experience: 12+ years’ maintenance management experience in petrochemical or chemical industry;
• Technical & Professional Knowledge:
• Solid knowledge about rotating equipment, with experience on Turbo machinery overhaul.
• Deep understanding of HDRE maintenance activity;
• Familiar with the related industrial standards and regulations;
• Good command of computer and English skills.
