Where the Chemistry Happens… Maintenance Technician – Orange, CA This role is responsible for personal and team safety, product quality, and execution of Packaging and Shipping responsibilities to meet production orders and shipments on their assigned shift. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operating bagging, box filling, and bulk loading operations
• Loading and unload trailers
• Verifying receiving and loading documents
• Operating the rework transfer system
• Operating the railcar raw material transfer system
• Conducting routine safety and equipment inspections
• Perform equipment preventive maintenance activities
• Participate in team activities in support of plant improvements
• Perform inspections of plant equipment and safety devices
• General maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of plant instrumentation and equipment

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You… Basic qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 years’ experience with weighing, conveying, and packaging operations
• 1-3 years’ experience trouble-shooting and identify deficiencies
• 1-3 years’ experience in a production environment
• 1-3 years’ experience with/exposure to machine set-up, safe equipment operation, and product quality
• 1-3 years’ experience with weighing, conveying, and packaging operations
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office suite experience with Word, Excel and Outlook
