Description

BASF Taiwan was established in 1969, responsible for marketing and sales of a wide range of both imported and locally manufactured chemical products. In 2012, BASF Taiwan received the National Industrial Safety & Health Award from the Ministry of Labor, the highest award for industrial safety in Taiwan. From 2013 to 2015, BASF Taiwan was ranked top 10 in the category of multinational corporations of “Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award” by CommonWealth Magazine. Main Tasks

• Innovativeness Study and build up new automatically equipment or procedures for current or new products, new methods or new applications, and/or system solutions to improve internal operations.
• Products quality improvementFunction as an information sources to support superior in consulting with production management and personnel on better operational procedures to improve overall efficiency and products quality. Initiate discuss with production management and supervisor to make appropriate recommendations and set timetable for improvement and corrections.
• Purchasing for test materialsAccording to the inventory and testing progress, decide the replenishment in quantity and time of the test materials and inform purchasing function timely.
• Handling product quality problemResolve major quality problems at production facilities and warehouse raw material etc., co-ordinate and cooperate with sales function, marketing or technical service function to work on complains for quality problems from customers
• Equipment metrologyBe responsible for rectifying all equipment in the chemistry lab according to the equipment manual or instructions from suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of experiments. Be responsible for the new methodology evaluation of all lab equipment to ensure their quality.
• ISO and EHS administrationPlan and direct activities related to ISO certification in order to secure the certification and successfully pass the subsequent audits. Perform and maintain the application of EHS and ISO-Standards in QC department in order to promote conformity and achieve the yearly target.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor degree or above, Chemical or Chemical related background is a plus.

• Working Experience: 1+ year working experience in chemistry or instrument related

• Technical & Professional Knowledge: Organic synthesis or LC-MS background is a plus.
