Description
Objective To perform day to day operational activities as outlined in the main tasks Main Tasks
- Perform plant operations (field and DCS) in a safe and effective manner to achieve the quality and quantity according to the production plan
- Perform start-up, shutdown and emergency activities in accordance with established procedures and instruction
- Perform routine field inspection and monitor the assigned units (specific plant area) by taking appropriate action and/or reports any abnormalities observed
- Collect samples and perform laboratory analysis as per schedule
- Active role in Sustainable Development; adheres and complies towards the continuous improvement of HSE best practices
- Identify unsafe act and unsafe conditions; then recommend the suitable corrective action
- Work under tight time frame / pressure during start up, shutdown and emergency
- Maintain harmonious work environment within the team; practise open communication
Requirements
- SPM with Certificate in Process from Institute Technology PETRONAS (INSTEP) or any other recognized institutions or
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering from recognized Institutions
- Degree would be an additional advantage
- Having highly proactive attitude, posses drive and commitment towards standard and performance for self
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills and a team player
- Good proficiency of English, both spoken and written
- Minimum working exposure in a process industry in the petrochemical environment with focus on plant operations
- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
