We are seeking a Production Execution Manager to lead the development of the daily execution team to ensure the execution of the production plan in a cost-effective, reliable, and safe manner.   • Establish plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets to assure continuous improvement.
  • Hold responsibility for driving EHS and LEAN continuous improvement.
  • Optimize fixed and variable manufacturing unit costs and provide technical support for cost-effective operations.
  • Provide operations coordination for asset optimization by coordinating with Maintenance, Asset Management, Strategic team, and other daily execution teams.
  • Provide technical and administrative guidance to operations, maintenance, and the business in support of the production plan.
  • Responsible for the leadership, development, succession planning/knowledge transfer, and performance management of the Daily Execution Team.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or another technical discipline and 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a chemical/petrochemical or other similar manufacturing environment OR, a
  • Bachelor of Science Degree may be substituted by 12+ years of manufacturing experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience leading teams in a chemical/petrochemical or other similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in complex chemical manufacturing processes with multiple recycle streams, esterification, hydrogenation, and high pressure systems.
  • Prior experience leading people or teams is required.
  • Prior production manager experience is required.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills, combined with excellent communications and human relations skills.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to solve complex problems
  • Ability to lead by example and set environment for taking risks within the organization by addressing constraints and enabling resources.
  • Foster integration of a diversity of perspectives across the organization, resulting in development of high-performing teams and output.
  • Ability to establish an environment that involves, trusts, and optimizes a diverse, high-performing team and creates a vision that fosters a sense of common ownership.
