Objectives:

Slurry Production manager is responsible for the detailed production planning and the safe and cost-effective production of slurry in the required volume and product specification, with overall responsibility of all the three shifts. As a section head will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance of standard operating procedures and responsible for development of the team in Slurry Area. Will be responsible for complete BASF EHS compliance in the area of Coating Preparation.

Main Tasks:

•Efficient handling of slurry preparation activities by astute allocation of manpower based on priority and requirement.

•Monitor, Manage and support Production Manager for Precious Metal control in Slurry Preparation process.

•Post, scrutinize and analyse Production records and take corrective and improvement actions.

•Put together procedure for sustaining and improving the First Time Through (FTT) by adopting DMAIC Steps

•Fill In slurry stocks and Keep an eye on inventory leading to manufacturing brilliance. Achieving set Production KPI’s like batches per day, FTT

•Resourceful usage of Wash water and Slurry Dry powder to avert unjustifiable Log Jam of Precious Metal.

•With a rapt attention, synchronization and effectual time management reduce the throughput time of slurry preparation and Synergy with Maintenance department warranting availability of production machineries towards attaining improved On Service Factor (OSF).

•Devise, put into practice and hold fast to Quality Management Systems like TS16949, ISO14001, and OHSAS 18001 & 5 STAR requirements of Hyundai leading to Customer Satisfaction and delight.

•Support Process Engineering Manager in Technology transfer activities scaling up from prototype to mass production.

•Monitoring, improving and reinforcing Clean and Safe Work environment by following the best practices of 3C & 5S.

Requirements:

•Education: Engineering Graduate

•Working Experience: Minimum 6 years. Desired 8 to 10 Years.

•Technical & Professional Knowledge: Essential B.E Chemical / B.E Mechanical, Desired Masters in Manufacturing / Production.
