Description

Objectives

• Responsible to lead the supplier quality audit for BASF coating business and supplier improvement
• Leading the regional joint quality management project with suppliers
• Responsible to develop the supplier quality management system in Asia

Main Tasks

• Expert in supplier quality audit (ISO9001, TS16949, crater, risk, etc.), provide relative crater training internally or to supplier; set the supplier audit list according to raw material priority and finish the audit task on time; good communication skills to internal shareholders and suppliers to ensure their support for plant audit; understand well about the audit focus and take the lead role during whole audit process; summarize the audit report and track the improvement from the supplier.
• Actively communicate with local & global TU team and global expert for audit experience sharing; build up the work flow process and file the reports of supplier audit; support customer audits in case it comes to new raw material suppliers introduction.
• Lead the cross function project team together with internal stake holders and external suppliers to build up the aligned quality methods of coating raw materials; expert to discuss with suppliers about spec agreement.
• Work with plant Quality Control team to establish supplier evaluation system, based on these results proposition on new supplier audits.
• Regional coordinator for relative quality management of in-house tolling projects.
• Frequent travel (ca. 30% of working time) within China needed, travel to other Asian countries according to business request.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor or above degree with major on Chemistry or Chemical engineering.
• Working Experience: >3 years working experience in process technology or quality management in automotive coatings and/or raw materials, understand well about coating application, technology and coatings formulation.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Value-added Technical & Professional Knowledge: 1. ISO9001/TS16949 certified auditor.
