Description

Objectives

  • Plan and implement all EVA aftermarket-related activities in China, including but not limited to product, pricing, distribution channels, and brand management based on the China aftermarket concept.
  • Assist in the sales for the four brand models under the EVA aftermarket segemnt based on the targets set for China.
  • Support business development of the aftermarket by identifying potential customers, provision of updated market intelligence, supporting marcom activities and coordinating with internal and external counterparts, etc. according to the targets set.
  • Indentify, negotiate and manage suppliers and tollers, e.g., bottlers for the aftermarket segment.

Main Tasks

  • 1. Business development and channel management
  • Plan, lead and scout for business opportunities in order to achieve aftermarket targets.
  • Develop proposals on sales and marketing and technical solutions for channel partners and ensure relevant strategy are exploited consistently.
  • Research, identify and develop existing and potential customer portfolio
  • Secure business opportunities by identifying market trends and customer needs in terms of product applications, services requirements, buying cycles, delivery schedules and pricing structure.
  • Develop and regular update promotional materials to identified customers.
  • Collect customer data/ information/ feedback/ expectations prepare for presentation/ seminars/ workshops to promote the products and services.
  • Provide necessary information to internal counterparts, e.g. credit control, logistic, customer services.
  • Marcom and brand management
  • Plan and support marcom actitivies with regional and global brand management team and in accordance with the brand guidelines and strategy.
  • Implement marcom actitivies such as product launches, trade shows, events, seminars, etc.
  • Support the sustainable development and implementation of consistent brand strategy and continuous look for branding opportunities in order to foster business growth.
  • Monitor, control and report of marcom cost and budget to the regional team.
  • Contract and payment receivable management
  • Responsible for negotiation and coordination of contracts with channel partners and internal counterparts.
  • Provide customer credit information for company credit control function, ensure timely payment of receivables to meet established sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Support for sales forecasting and planning
  • Monitor, analyze, assess and communicate monthly sales data to supervisor and propose product / service planning, revision of strategies, identify business opportunities, pinpoint problem areas and provide solutions.
  • Contribute to pricing policy
  • Implement the defined pricing policies.
  • Provide inputs on pricing structure according to market intelligence on price trends, consumption analysis, sales terms and conditions, customer profiles to ensure profitable margins.
  • Market intelligence
  • Full responsibility on local market intelligence.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends, technical development, market activities and industry intelligence to help define the marketability of products and report to supervisor identified trends that could affect targets.
  • Obtain, update, and maintain market data and disseminiate information to internal stakeholders.
  • Support market research projects to understand further the different aspects of the aftermarket segment of EVA products in China.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Chemistry or chemical engineering / technology, Communications, or Business Administration
  • Working Experience: 8-10 years
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge: familiar with Chinese automotive industry is highly preferred
