Sales Representative (North CA, North NV, North UT, ID, WA, OR) – 1703638 – Remote Position As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives in the Pest Control market, while developing customer business relationships that create long term value for BASF and our customers. You will also be responsible for implementation and execution of field tactical activities that maintain and grow our product portfolio. In addition, you will function as BASF’s face to our customers, as well as many other market influencers and industry partners. Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Develop a professional and personal skill set that will impact business strategy and growth
  • Manage Sales Territory to achieve yearly sales goals within assigned budgets
  • Build and cultivate strong business relationships with key end users and maintain a working profile of opportunities with each end user
  • Support and utilize distribution network to increase sales throughout territory
  • Present and administer marketing programs to end users
  • Provide biology and product training to key end users and distribution network
  • Report top opportunities through a strategic monthly review
  • Participate in special sales and marketing projects

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (or successful completion of a BASF Rotational Program)
  • Demonstrated sales abilities with consecutive years of high level performance
  • Strong Customer Focus with proven results

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Agribusiness, Agricultural Sciences or Related Field
  • Sales/Marketing experience in Professional Pest Management or related industry (i.e.: Pest Control, Turf & Ornamental, Agricultural Markets)
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
