Program Summary

  • One, 12 month assignment at a BASF facility to provide exposure to various technologies and career opportunities, while promoting the development of technical and professional decision- making skills and fulfilling specific business needs.

What can the Ag Professional Development Program- Technical Service do for you?

  • Enhance career development and deliver value to BASF through the planned assignments.
  • Prepare you to provide technical support and positioning of BASF products & portfolio to Business Reps, key influencers, Distributors, and Retailers while learning to develop short and long-term action plans, and anticipate responses for changing market dynamics.
  • May lead to opportunities in a variety of disciplines within the Agricultural Products Group: Technical Service, Field Sales, Marketing, Biology, Regulatory, or Customer Service.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Basic Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Agricultural, Agronomy, Biology or Plant Science related field.
  • Demonstrated academic achievement (Minimum Major GPA 3.0)
  • Recent or upcoming graduates (December 2017 – August 2018 grads)
  • Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Flexible/adaptable
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal understanding
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
