Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 2+ years of proven sales experience (or successful completion of a BASF Professional Development Rotational Program)
  • Account management experience
  • Agronomy knowledge and competency
  • Computer skills, including MS Office, particularly Excel, to generate sales support materials, analyze trends, and fulfill marketing programs
  • Willing and able to live and travel throughout the assigned territory of Northern and Central Ohio
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Strong work ethic and self-motivation; Able to manage multiple projects to meet goals and objectives

We Also Look For…

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience
  • Basic Plant Physiology, Pathology, Entomology and Weed Science
  • Ohio Crop Knowledge -- Primary Focus on Corn, Soybean, & Wheat
  • Crop Protection Chemical and Ag Retail Understanding
  • MBA or other advanced degree
