Description

BASF has been a committed partner to Greater China since 1885. With major investments in Nanjing, Shanghai and Chongqing, BASF is one of the largest foreign investors in the Chinese chemical industry, and maintains the BASF Asia Pacific Innovation Campus in Shanghai as a research and development hub for the Asia Pacific region. Objectives Provide services of governance and guidance in Mainland China and customs declaration for served BASF companies. Governance and guidance mainly include leveraged customs/CIQ management strategically, expertise & knowledge management, systematic preference management, compliance & risk management, and customs dispute resolving. Make sure processes are implemented, ensure the agreed service level with cost control and in compliance with governmental regulations, BASF company policies and Transportation and Distribution Safety (TDS) requirements. Main Tasks

  • Governance and guidance

- Arrange company certificate application, renewal and deregistration timely and correctly. - Establish, maintain and upgrade company reputation at custom and CIQ and pass through their yearly and random audit. - Paticipate in customs and CIQ process design to assure compliance, and audit operational staff and LSP to assure activities are adhered to the pre-defined process. - Act as focal point in logistics to coordinate Free Trade Agreement (FTA) among customs, CIQ, I/E and BU, maintain and trace the updated policy of FTA, and resolve FTA issues. - Monitor, update and support to analyze government regulations and distribute to all related colleagues. - Arrange Mainland China customs community activities.

  • Company registration application and renew in compliance with customs policy and without exceeding the threshold of failure rate. Manager customs supervision room properly.
  • Quality Management, Governmental Regulation and handle AEO auditing: Monitor changes of regulations from related authorities and assure timely react and support supervisor to update working procedure. Assure operation fully in line with ISO, government regulations and TDS.
  • Generate statistics report incl. monthly KPI report.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in international trade, logistics, supply chain or related major.
  • At least 3 years' working experience in logistics or supply chain.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Skilful in MS Office.
  • Customs clearance certificate and commodity inspection certificate holder preferred.
