Description

This position is based at BASF PETRONAS Chemicals' Sdn Bhd, a RM3.4 billion joint venture that combines the innovative strengths and capabilities of two well-established Fortune 500 companies, BASF SE (60%), the world's leading chemical company and PETRONAS (40%), Malaysia’s fully integrated energy company with a wide network of operations around the world. With the current growth in our downstream portfolio, we are integrating the most powerful minds and talented high achievers to drive our outstanding performance as a global leader in the chemical industry Objective Support daily operations of loading products into tanker, filling products into drums, stuffing filled drums into container and receiving / distributing of packed raw material chemicals

Main Tasks

• To perform daily operations of truck loading, drumming and container stuffing with accordance to the safety requirement, quality procedures, and planning compliances
• To be apart of our comprehensive system and open minded team with highly commitment culture and result driven oriented
• To participate in HSE program, Sustainability program, departmental activity and relevant qualification training
• Involved in discussion of work risk assessment (WRA) for the respective work processes
• Carry out routine inspection of all safety equipment at work area and report to Superior of any machine / process abnormalities
• Print GLM labels and colour coding stickers (with batch no. and production date)
• Perform assigned tasks diligently, accurately and timely in accordance to PCW business rules and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification, preferably relevant certificate from recognized institutes
• 3 years working experiences in the field of loading and handling drumming machines or related field. Experience in GMP and HACCP system will be an added value
• Competent in handling process requirement of chemical warehousing operations. Good knowledge in CLASS Regulations 2013 and SDS will be an advantage
• Familiar with MS Word & MS Excel
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and a team player
• Proactive, posses drive and commitment towards standard and performance for self development
