As a Business Analyst, you will be working in a 6-8-person squad in one of our IT Areas supporting Digitalization. Within this area work is being done in a DevOps manner. Scrum/Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices are very important to success in this role. Together with the team you will be building and maintaining the digital solutions for our Internal business partner and other IT parties. You will be working in close cooperation with stakeholders and actively participating in the extension of the platform's capabilities by deploying and configuring new features, components, and releases in a controlled way. The DevOps team is responsible for the development, delivery, operation, and maintenance of applications, associated components, and interfaces. Collectively, the DevOps team has full responsibility for the Development, Quality Assurance, and Operations of their systems. The squad operates per the Scrum Agile development process and strongly believes in the DevOps approach to delivering successful IT solutions.   • Perform first assessment of project ideas as input for project portfolio management process.
  • Help the customer to detail requirements as needed for defining an IS solution.
  • Perform requirements analysis.
  • Consult and design solution considering feasibility, IS architecture and policies, and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure solutions are implemented per functional requirements.
  • Provide effort and schedule estimations.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of in-depth experience in the IT industry; performance requirement analysis is a plus.
  • Demonstrated overall entrepreneurial drive with high customer-oriented focus.
  • Experience working with dynamic, highly-collaborative teams.
  • Experience developing business processes and IT solutions in Business and CRM environments from conceptualization to implementation.
  • Direct interaction with product owners and stakeholders to document decision, issues, functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, process models, and impact analysis.
