Description

Objectives:

• According to the agreed strategies provide technical services to assist to support the implementation of sales strategies and polices in the assigned areas.
• Ensures the achievement of tasks within the agreed time and budget and might involve other functions for execution of subtasks

Main Tasks:

• Technical competence

- Assure high level technical support to customers, marketing and sales force.

- Up to date understanding of market needs and industry technology trend.- Initiate new joint project with KAs and follow up with sales, R&D, TS closely.

- State of art know-how of formulations and applications in assigned area.

- Deliver product training and seminar to customers and distributors

• Leadership

- Motivate and lead to archive maximum results.

- Coordinate to TS, R&D, RHQ marketing and sales to achieve customers' technical requirements.

- Cooperate with senior manager for new business development plan

• Information update by monthly report and seek for feedback
• Make project based technical sales contacts/calls, research customer needs and develop application of product and services accordingly.
• Evaluate product and service marketability in terms of customers' technical and manufacturing needs.
• Assist to support product launch: develop/adapt formulations and sales tools (e.g. demonstration articles) to ensure successful introduction of the defined products. To be member of product launch team.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical development that effect target markets.
• Organize and support technical training internally and externally.
• Net work with other TS teams regionally and globally.

Requirements:

• Education: Scientific education: either Bachelor degree in Chemistry/Science or related field.
• Working Experience: At least 6 years experience in an deco coating industry R&D organization.    
• Technical & Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of related chemistry. Understanding of the markets needs with regards to products and innovation in which the business is active. English in written and spoken; Operate Microsoft Office.
