Where the Chemistry Happens… The myHR Shared Service Center is the face of Corporate HR Services to all Employees, Managers, and the HR team in North America. As a single point of contact, we aim to provide accurate answers, consistent and professional service, and timely resolution to HR- and pay-related inquiries and issues. This position resides within the Data Management area and supports HR Organizational Data to all employees in the US and Canada. The HR Data Analyst is responsible for the management of confidential employee and organizational data in the regional SAPHR system. S/he manages the central development of the North American organizational business reporting relationship structure to the Global business structure. Responsibilities include a variety of SAP HR functions ensuring data integrity to support accurate Global headcount reporting, Global HR data quality alignment, Job structures, HR reporting and analytics, Business restructuring, compensation planner, and financial reporting. The role provides guidance and leadership to HR Teams to support Business restructures / organizational changes, centralized Master record management, and special projects.   • Maintain the organizational management structure to ensure the hierarchy is accurate and reflects up-to-date information for positions, reporting relationships, compensation data, cost centers, EEO reporting, worker’s compensation, Global HR reporting, and alignment.
  • Partner with HR operations, Information Technology, Compensation, Managers, and Global Data Governance teams to manage and improve the HR data quality.
  • Develop and implement new HR Organizational management process improvements and maintain process documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR controlling to accurately report regional employee headcount to BASF Global headquarters monthly.
  • Responsible for ensuring data audits, integrity, testing of system changes, report writing/running/scheduling, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and participate in various regional and global HR projects.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Human Resources Management preferred with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong HR functional and technical knowledge experience in SAP Organizational and Personnel Administration applications preferred, in combination with experience in the support of various other HCM-related modules and functionality.
  • Human Resources process experience including Employee Shared Service Center, HR Master Data, payroll, and benefits disciplines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work, problem solving, communication, project management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, as well as see projects through with limited guidance.
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
  • Technically savvy to leverage system functionality to meet business requirements.
