Located in the heart of Berlin, BASF Services Europe brings together an international team of around 1,300 colleagues, with over 50 different nationalities, working in our Finance, HR departments and Procurement. The performance and expertise of over 200 of our BASF companies in the whole of Europe are collected together in our BASF Shared Service Centre.

What you can expect

From January/February 2018 onwards, you have the chance to get to know the work we do in our team HR Inquiry Europe and to actively participate in our team for 4 to 6 months.

• Your main responsibility will be to assist and advise external applicants on our recruitment processes across Europe, by phone, email and chat.
• You will support us in consulting and assisting the employees of the BASF Group companies in Europe with their personnel/HR related questions.
• You will register the telephone requests in our SAP CRM-system and process them accordingly.
• Also, you will maintain our knowledge database.
• Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to give your input to optimize our processes and the conceptual development of our department and to contribute on exiting projects.

What we expect

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree in business or similar studies and you would like to get more experience in HR Services.
• You speak fluent German and English. Knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
• Your MS Office skills are excellent, especially Excel.
• On a personal level, you demonstrate enthusiasm, engagement and an efficient way of working with an eye for detail.
• Your excellent communication skills and customer orientation are among your main strengths.
