Objectives

  • Develop incident management system and improve reporting actively; Implement and maintain safety standards at workplace.
  • Implement EHS knowledge training for staff and organize EHS Dialogue, committee meeting, EHS coordinator meeting

Main Tasks

  • Guide and advise all EHS related topics to promote and implement the principles and practices of EHS. Cooperate with the regional and global EHS experts and with country/site.
  • Ensure that all accidents/incidents/near misses occurred are properly and timely reported (by using Aims and other tools) and investigated to take corrective actions accordingly. Keep the incident records centrally and analyze them to share the learnings within the department (in China, regional & global) and with country/site EHS experts as well.
  • Support the preparation and the required follow-up activities for Internal Audits.
  • Support Tollers and external contracted warehouses to improve EHS performance.
  • Collect and consolidate demand forecast from each lab and communicate with business unit about material availability
  • Place stock transfer order to move materials out of department and put into Delta and place stock transfer order to move material out of Delta and put into Campus
  • Place purchase requisition for 3rd party raw materials and coordinate with procurement to get in the materials
  • Cost management including book goods issue, transportation cost, tolling cost
  • Inventory record management for lab storage rooms schedules, EHS standards and EHS


  • Bachelor or higher degree in Chemistry related major
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in lab.
  • Good team player
  • Excellent communication skill in verbal and written English and Chinese is a must.
