Where the Chemistry Happens… We are seeking a Product Registration Manager to support our Agricultural Solutions (APN) division. This position will be based in Research Triangle Park, NC. Product Registration Manager (1703518) – RTP, NC As a Product Registration Manager, you will manage the development of projects, regulatory strategies, submission activities and registration actions associated with currently registered products. You will also lead re-registration defense activities for assigned products, and represent BASF by participating in FIFRA-related industry meetings/committees. Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Lead cross-functional project teams that develop data supporting North America LCM projects and re-registration activities for assigned products
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve U.S. registration of crop protection products and/or pest control products
  • Provide regulatory support and service to internal technical and business teams, company customers, and sub-registrants
  • Participate in monitoring EPA regulatory activities through interactions in industry associations
  • Advise business teams on regulatory issues impacting company sales and profit; explore alternative regulatory strategies that can benefit the business

  • PhD Degree in Agriculture or Related Scientific Discipline with 0+ years of experience – OR - MS/MBA Degree in Agriculture or Related Scientific Discipline with 3+ years of experience - OR- BA/BS Degree in Agriculture or Related Scientific Discipline with 5+ years of experience
  • Project management skills
  • Experience working within a regulatory environment
  • Experience leading or supporting project development teams
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solver with a demonstrated ability to ensure attention to details while balancing multiple tasks

  • PhD Degree in Agriculture or Related Scientific Discipline with 2+ years of experience – OR - MS/MBA Degree in Agriculture or Related Scientific Discipline with 5+ years of experience - OR- BA/BS Degree in Agriculture or Related Scientific Discipline with 7+ years of experience
  • Experience working within the pesticide industry
  • Working knowledge of FIFRA
  • Proven track record for successfully registering pesticide products
