What you can expect

As a Process Safety Adviser, you will provide consistent and credible advice to Bradford and Grimsby operations on all major hazards internal and external legal process compliance.

  • You will be responsible for the Safety Concept Development and RCMS Implementation., which includes maintaining and monitoring key BASF process safety systems.
  • You will lead and/or participate in supporting process safety concepts consistent with EV strategic projects and business priorities.
  • You will also lead projects supporting Bradford & Grimsby operations, defining project scopes and monitoring progress to implementation.
  • Furthermore, you will maintain a professional relationship with UK Regulatory Authorities and assist in maintaining COMAH Safety Reports.
  • Finally, you will also be involved in managing process safety aspects of Level 4 BASF audits.

What we expect

  • You are graduated to degree level in Chemistry/ Engineering or a related field.
  • You are able to identify hazards, assess risks and analyse problems.
  • You have project management skills and are able to work to tight deadlines in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • You have good communication, facilitation and influencing skills and are able to challenge decisions and work within multinational company.
  • You have a good knowledge of IT systems and packages.
