What you can expect

Within our unit Global Technology and Innovation Management you will support the regional business units in all the aspects related to reactive resin production processes. The preferred working location is Trostberg, Germany, but other locations in Europe can be considered, e.g. Mannheim.

• You will use your solid expertise in the segment of reactive resin development and production to support the on-going analysis and work streams of construction chemicals on a global level.
• Especially in the segment of reactive resins, you will support the definition and implementation of the technology and asset strategies for the division, including appropriate benchmarking and competitive intelligence.
• You will challenge the status quo in terms of reactive resin manufacturing, packing and distribution as well as contribute to identifying and implementing the state of the art technologies.
• You will provide support with the implementation of new production and process technology concepts for new reactive resin products.
• You will act as a coordination bridge among the R&D departments, the regional production units, and any external resources on a global basis.
• You will collect the best practices in terms of reactive resin manufacturing and share with all the relevant stakeholders.
• You will contribute in the reviews of capital investment projects when reactive resins are involved.

What we expect

• You have successfully completed your studies with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related subject.
• You have already gained 5 to 10 years' professional experience in the reactive resins segment (mainly PU, epoxy and acrylics) in R&D, production and processes.
• Ideally you possess direct production experience of reactive resins.
• Due to your experience abroad you feel comfortable working in international teams.
• You are willing travel up to 30 percent of your working time.
• You are a highly motivated person with strong leadership skills who is able to build fruitful relationships with the main stakeholders.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
