Where the Chemistry Happens…

The Workplace and Mobile Application Management Team provides Operational Application Management Services for BASF’s PC and mobile device platforms across the globe to meet BASF’s business needs. This includes application software packaging, provisioning, and deprovisioning and associated troubleshooting.

Formula for Success: You Will…

• Evaluate and provision mobile applications in the BASF App Store.
• Provision BASF-developed apps in public App Stores (e.g., Microsoft, iOS, Android).
• Provision apps in support of the new “Smart Manufacturing for Augmented Reality” service.
• Participate in the “Multiplatform Service Mobile Devices“project and facilitate delivery of the resulting services.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant information technology industry experience. Interest in new technologies.
• Indirect team engagement and collaboration with others; high ambition and customer service orientation.
• Analytical skills and interest in new technologies, process design, trends analysis, continuous improvement, and concept creation.
• Autonomy for prudent decision-making and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge in different mobile operating systems (Windows Mobile, iOS, Android); Mobile Application Management, Mobile Device Management, Intune, App Development; Microsoft System Center (SCCM); additional skills in ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or Project Management.
• Bi-lingual skills; fluency in the German language a plus.
