Formula for Success: You Will…

Program Summary

We offer Engineering students the opportunity to spend a summer working at a North American BASF site within the U.S. Interns will participate in various Engineering projects which will provide the opportunity to further develop both technical and professional skills. These practical and meaningful assignments will give interns the ability to apply what they’ve learned in school.

What can the Engineering PDP Internship do for you?

  • The opportunity to join our Talent Pipeline for consideration of future opportunities within the organization, including the Fulltime Engineering Professional Development Program.
  • Develop technical expertise, network at senior levels throughout BASF, and explore possible career tracks within the company.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Major in Environmental Engineering.
  • Demonstrated academic achievement (Minimum GPA 3.2).
  • College Sophomores and Juniors (December 2018 – August 2020 grads).
  • Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Outstanding work ethic.
  • Agility/Leadership Potential.
  • Active participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • Previous internship/co-op experience.
