Where the Chemistry Happens… Equipment Service Technician (1702998) – Des Moines, IA This position will provide installation, maintenance and repair services for Admixture dispensing equipment. You will be responsible for ordering, calibrating, installing, repairing, and maintaining dispenser equipment and all components within your assigned territory account list. You will collect, document and return removed equipment to the rebuild center. The service tech will work with the sales team to plan and coordinate the daily / weekly work assignments and schedule within their territory. You will be responsible for timely reporting of verbal work orders, incident reports, installation checklists, equipment ordering, and expense reports. Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Basic qualifications:

• Requires 3 - 5 years of service experience (Technical degree could be substituted for 2 years-related experience)
• High School diploma required
• Strong electrical, mechanical, plumbing and troubleshooting diagnostic skills required
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Computer literacy is required
• Must have a clean driving record
• Valid Driver License required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE certification or industrial maintenance experience
• Customer service and sales experience
