Description

Objectives:

  • Assuring the achievement for the Electrical/Instrument project activities.
  • Supervising planning ,execution, and cost estimation for major Electrical/Instrument projects.

Main Tasks:

  • Assure engineering quality in own discipline in terms of compliance of codes and standards,local regulations,BASF technical rules and mandatory requirements, specifications.
  • Be responsible for cost and schedule control for own discipine in assigned projects.Review the resource planning and cost estimation made by partners or contractors.Support cost engineering activities.
  • Ensure the technical support to procurement activities by supplying relevant documentation such as ITB,MTO,TBE etc.
  • Coordination of cross disciplines,engineering partners,contractors and suppliers for key Electrical/Instrument project activities. Monitor and improve the performance of service providers.
  • Take the leadership and ownership as BASF project discipline representative in project management activities.
  • Support relevant activities during construction,commissioining and startup of plant.
  • Contribute to the actvities for achieving sustable development of team or whole organization.
  • Coaching junior engineers as mentor to improve their competence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in process control mandatory - Master degree is an advantage
  • At least more than 8 years work experiences in specific professional field (in instrumentation/process control field) preferable. At least more than 5 years work experiences in chemical and petrochemical industry mandatory
  • International experiences will be an advantage
  • Solid written English and verbal communication skills mandatory
  • Solid instrumentation engineering skills in chemical industry mandatory
  • Basic skill in relevant software/tools like SmartPlant Instrument, CAD, 3D tools preferable
  • Frequent travelling and assignments globally required
