Where the Chemistry Happens… The global unit Service Module Design Infrastructure, G-FSI/IAC, is responsible for the definition and calculation of Service Modules in the area of infrastructure (network, datacenter services, workplace services and unified communications). The global unit represents the interface of G-FSI/I infrastructure to G-FS Portfolio- and Service Catalog Management, Enterprise Architecture and G-FS Controlling. The main G-FSI/I internal partners are the Service Owners, Service Module Owners and Request Management. In close cooperation with these units it defines and calculates competitive global Service Modules and Service Bundles (services, technology, delivery model, mode of operation, sourcing to be used by Request Management. The new position is caused by the global rollout of CARS (Wave C and Wave D – IT Hubs North America and Brazil) and will cover – besides global topics – local services in North and South America. • Determine the needs of our global internal customers and develop Service Modules and Services Bundles to standardize and optimize the delivery.
• Be responsible for the definition and calculation of Service Modules and Service Bundles, including
  • Delivery/sourcing model
  • Order process (i.e., via mylink portal)
  • Charging mechanism, including definition of provision of charging related data according to the CARS rule set
• Continually recalculate Service Modules and Service (twice a year) to reflect the cost development and scope changes of the services. Initiate adjustment measures in case of deviations
• Support of Benchmarks of Infrastructure Services.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

• Bachelor’s degree required, combined with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the Financial Sector and/or Information Technology; OR in lieu of degree, at least 5 years of experience working in the Financial Sector and/or Information Technology.
• Solid knowledge of CARS concepts and service design and calculation.
• Familiarity with business management.
