In De Meern, we develop, produce and sell catalysts. The catalysts we produce are used in a number of applications. Around 80% of all products we encounter in our daily life were made with the aid of a catalyst. Our products are frequently used in industries like the food industry or the petrochemical industry.

What you can expect

As Controlling Specialist, you are responsible for the continuous improvement and implementation of financial policies, processes and systems.

• You will be responsible for the monthly preparation and controlling of the financial site reports and departmental expenses.
• Furthermore you ensure monthly reporting and follow-up of site sales control and sales development analysis.
• Next to that, you will make the site's monthly fixed costs' forecast for the business unit.
• Participate in site benchmarking projects and support the definition and implementation of improvement actions is your responsibility.
• You will support the development of integrated site budgets, according to deadlines and in alignment with the business unit and the company.
• You will provide support in realizing site KPI targets and site operating plan deliverables.
• In this role, you will act as process captain by continuously optimizing defined processes and realizing KPI's in The Netherlands.
• Besides you will control site subsidies, monitor underlying projects/activities and coordinate with the external advisor.

What we expect

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Controlling and three till five years' relevant work experience in a comparable job within an international company.
• Knowledge of Dutch- & IFRS-GAAP is a requirement.
• You have experience with SAP ERP system (FI/CO) and you are an advanced MS Office user.
• You seek and act upon value-adding opportunities for collaboration within and across units.
• Besides, you take ownership for results, overcome obstacles and drive changes.
• You can communicate effectively in Dutch and English (spoken as well as written).
