What you can expect

In the position of Junior Controller Group Charges within our Controlling Services unit in Berlin, you are responsible for the process of calculation and allocation of overhead costs of corporate divisions (operating, regional and functional) within the global BASF group.

• You will ensure a globally standardized calculation and allocation of cost amounts for the group companies, including cost allocation for specific cases e.g. contractual agreements and detailed attachments.
• You will monitor, supervise and provide support for direct or indirect charging processes, drive awareness in the organization, offer knowledge transfer and identify training needs.
• Regarding to the charging process and documentation BASF-wide, your activities will ensure compliant quality management e.g. regular review meetings, tracking of KPIs, reviews of documentation, etc.
• You steer the charging volume and provide suggestions for optimizations as well as harmonizations.
• In collaboration with other Shared Service Centers you will support and coordinate related regional processes.

What we expect

• You hold a degree in Business or Economics with relevant professional controlling experience and you have outstanding controlling skills, especially regarding the reporting, cost & profitability analysis, economics calculation and financial guidelines.
• You are a skilled user of the standard Microsoft applications, especially Excel, and also have excellent user skills in the SAP R/3 modules of FI and CO and in SAP Business Warehouse.
• In conversations and presentations, you are persuasive in both German and English.
