What you can expect

As Service Unit Controller, you will be responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of one or more service Units of BASF.

• You will provide your internal customers with regular accounts and statistics that can measure and evaluate to which level a service has realized its objectives.
• As a financial consultant, you will also implement change processes by which you conduct the necessary systems engineering conversions.
• You will be taking care of drafting budgets, following up on and clarifying Budget deviations, following up on saving measures and executing on the spot price and cost analyses.
• You will also conduct monthly and yearly closing activities, monitor system-master data and initiate necessary changes.
• Finally, you will draw up, follow up on KPI´s and support, and actively participate on improvement projects.

What we expect

• You have a master degree with an excellent understanding of accounting and preferably some first relevant working experience in Finance/Controlling.
• You have good analytic thinking skills and you like to improve and optimize processes to make them more efficient and get the correct results.
• You are an enthusiastic and driven team player who can work independently, is pro-active and is willing to take initiative.
• Furthermore, you are fluent in Dutch, you have excellent communication skills and ideally, you can speak some German.
• You complete your profile with a strong interest in IT and a good knowledge of MS (Word, Excel, Access) and preferably SAP.
